10-page website on your individual research topic due during final exam period
Consisting of:
--landing page with substantial content
--infographic
--discussion and incorporation of your secondary research and any primary research
--exploration of subtopics on separate webpages
--demonstrating a command of the research and making a connection to readings/topics discussed in class
--usable navigation with links throughout
--links back to your homepage, to the landing page
--coherent and thoughtful design and content
--design relevant to relationship to content
--usable and accessible layout
--proper attribution and citation of images
--thoughtful integration of images throughout most pages
--demonstrates rhetorical awareness
--accessibility through design and captioning images and video
--incorporation of feedback from weekly in-class draft workshop peer reviews
--brief, informal email to me summarizing process
--3,000 words polished, revised prose spread throughout
--prose displays controlling ideas/focus
--optional multimedia to serve the purpose of your project could include:
-quick explainer video
-maps
-charts
-visual gallery
-artifact analysis e.g. screenshot discussions and interpret
The individual project meeting with me will result in a plan for your ten pages customized to the purpose and content of your topic and your own goals.
